By Shreya Kundra(IX C):
First of all, I want to say 2 things which are most important i.e. I LOVE YOU and THANK YOU.
I know writing a letter on such a special day would seem as boring as watching paint to dry but sometimes, penning down words seems easier than standing in front of you and telling you how much you mean to me. I am so lucky to call you pappa ( seems funny ). Today, I just want to say thanks to you for all the things u have done for me and Lavanya.
THANK YOU for coming in my life as the best father in the whole universe.
THANK YOU for making all the sacrifices for your KUNDRAKIDS. I know living away from family is a very difficult task and I can feel it.
THANK YOU for being my “GOOGLE” where I can get the answer of any problem in a few minutes and that too in such a manner, that has always helped me to overcome it.
THANK YOU for having so much faith in me. I remember when I was in class 7 and a new comer to my school, I didn’t know anything about French language because I had studied sansrkrit in class 6 in my previous school. You and mumma encouraged me to take up the challenge. In my first assessment, I got 7/30. I got disappointed….. a lot. I took the decision to move again to Sanskrit but then you told me that – my daughter is not weak. She can do anything if she wants. It’s okay if you got less marks, atleast you tried. You still trusted me, and because of you, I continued on the difficult path and scored 30/30 in the fourth assessment. So, MERCI ( thank you in french ).
THANK YOU for all the things you have done for me. I can’t just count them even if I want to.
I don’t think a child can ever repay his/her parents even if he/she wants. We can only repay a little of it by getting good results and by respecting everyone.
I am going to make you and mumma so proud one day. This is my promise to you.
I HOPE WE ALL MAKE OUR FATHERS PROUD AND BE WITH THEM FOR ALL OUR LIVES. BECAUSE FOR A FATHER WHO IS GROWING OLD, NOTHING IS DEARER TO HIM THAN HIS CHILDREN ESPECIALLY DAUGHTERS.
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!
